The founders of Re-dress realised that Ireland was at risk of being left behind as its European counterparts blazed a trail towards socially & environmentally conscious consumption. They decided to do something and from there Better Fashion Week (then called Fashion Evolution) was born.

FASHION EVOLUTION 2008 brought together the No.1 Ethical Hero & International fashion designer Katharine Hamnett , Mike Barry, the Head of Sustainability for Marks and Spencer and Ingrid Schrullstrom Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for H&M to share the secrets of successful sustainability with the Irish Fashion Industry.
